What comes out of your package and what does not
Service costs are drawn from your Support at Home quarterly budget. Government assesses some people to pay a contribution based on income and assets, which sits between you and Services Australia.
What we charge
Care management is 10% of your monthly Support at Home package. That's the standard rate across Support at Home providers, and it comes out of the package rather than being billed to you.
We add a 10% processing charge to partner invoices, which covers the claiming, compliance and payment work behind each service.
There are no setup, exit or switching fees.
Why self-managed usually costs less
Self-managing removes a layer: care coordinators, rostering teams, and the overhead of employing every worker who visits you. You choose the local business, they invoice, we handle the registered-provider side.
Families who want one number to call and no decisions to make are better served by a fully managed provider, and we will say so rather than sign you up.
Questions worth asking any provider
Ask these of any provider, including us.
Fee questions
Is self-managing cheaper than provider-managed care?
Generally yes. A provider that manages everything charges for managing everything. Self-managing shifts some of the coordination to you and your family, and the fee reflects that.
Do I pay Partner with Care directly?
No. Fees come out of your Support at Home package, not your own bank account, alongside any government-set contribution you are assessed to pay.
Do you charge to switch to you from another provider?
Ask us on the call and we will give you a straight answer. Your current provider may have a notice period in their agreement, which is separate from anything we charge.
What happens to unspent funds?
Unspent Support at Home funds roll over between quarters within the rules set by government, which change from time to time. We explain how it works for your classification when we speak.
